History of the Xalet-Refuge Pere Carné

The Chalet-Refugi Pere Carné is one of the first enclaves built in the Vall de La Molina, a pioneering ski resort in Spain. Since its beginnings, the building has been designed to offer nature lovers and hikers a wide range of sporting and cultural possibilities.

We are located at 1,500 metres above sea level, next to the access road to the ski slopes, just 3 km from the resort of La Molina and 7 km from Masella. We have an excellent connection from Barcelona, as we have a train line (Line 3, Hospitalet - La Tour de Carol) that facilitates access to the Eastern Catalan Pyrenees. When you arrive at your destination (La Molina stop), it is a 10 minute walk to the Chalet-Refuge. Giving the traveller the possibility and comfort to escape from the city.

Our intention is to make you feel at home, taking care of the smallest detail of your stay. We offer you a familiar and close treatment, a good selection of music, wines and homemade food made with typical products of the area and a personal touch; apart from the spaces that we put at your disposal thinking of each one of you.

 Here are our house rules:

• Check in 4:00 PM - Check out 11:00 AM

• Closing time: 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM (no concierge).

• Breakfast hours: from 08:00 to 09:00, confirm at check in time.

• Pets are not allowed.

• Smoking is not allowed inside the house.

• We offer dinners on weekends (Fridays & Saturdays) from 20:00h to 21:00h with previous reservation.

• And above all, bear in mind that you are not arriving at a hotel, it is a mountain refuge, ours and your home.
